Iranian Scientific Commerce Association (ISCA) is a non-profit entity which was established in February 2003, after getting licensed by Scientific Associations Commission of Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, to promote the advancement of knowledge and qualitative and quantitative improvement of skilled manpower and research and education in related fields. ISCA is registered under number 14912 in the Office for Registration of Non-Profit Firms and Institutions. 
Duties and Activities 
In order to achieve the above mentioned goals, ISCA will undertake: 
1- Cultural and scientific research at national and international levels using researchers and experts who are somehow involved in economics and commerce
2- Cooperating with academic, executive and research body in evaluating and revising research and education plans and programs in the related fields of its activities.
3- Persuading and encouraging researchers and honoring distinguished researchers and professors.
4- Offering educational and research services.
5- Organizing scientific gatherings at national, regional and international levels. 
6- Publishing books and scientific Journals. 
Scientific Groups
ISCA has specialized groups in the fields of domestic and international commerce, international economics, business law and trade information technology. It also has committees on research and education, information and statistics, admission and public relations, scientific gatherings, ratification of rules and regulation concerning the formation of groups and committees. 
Administration
ISCA is administered by a board of directors which is composed of five original and three acting members. ISCA members are elected every two years by secret vote among its joint members. 
Membership 
ISCA accepts five kinds of members: 
1- Honorary Membership 
Iranian and international personages whose their academic ranks in economics and commerce are of special significance or have offered valuable and effective assistance to furthering ISCA's goals are accepted as members, after being nominated by the board of directors and approval of general assembly, which is the main body of ISCA. 
2- Joint Membership
Founding members and all people who at least have a master degree in economics, commerce or related fields may become a joint member. Those who have bachelor degree in one of the above mentioned fields may become a joint member upon the approval of board of directors. 
3- Affiliated Membership 
Those who have bachelor degree and five years working experience in above mentioned fields may become affiliated member. 
4-Student Membership
All students currently enrolled in economics and commerce and related fields may become student member. 
5- Legal (Organizational) Membership
Organizations which are active in the related areas of scientific and research may become a legal member.
